After searching online for a race day checklist that would be useful, I decided to create one that has everything that I need listed. I found a lot of great checklists, but no checklist seemed to be a complete list. It is horrible to get to a race and realize you have forgotten your watch, or your music is not charged enough, or you forgot socks! So here is my list that I created. I'm putting it directly below or click here for a printable version. The printable version has two checklists, so you can cut it in half.

Race Day Running Checklist
__ shoes
__ socks
__ sports bra
__ top—tank, short sleeve, long sleeve
__ bottoms—shorts, skirt, capris, or pants
__ sunglasses
__ hat or visor
__ Nano & headphones—charged
__ running watch—charged
__ bib number (if picked up early)
__ extra safety pins
__ zip-lock baggies
__ money
__ ID
__ gels, chews, or bars
__ water
__ arm band, wrist holder, or belt
__ chapstick / Vaseline
__ tissues
__ inhaler / antihistamine
__ towel
__ deodorant
__ change of clothes w/underwear
__ change of shoes
__ directions / map
__ car key
__ Gatorade/water in car for after race
Cold weather:
__ sweats / cover-up for over outfit
__ gloves or ear warmers
__ jacket—rain or cold weather
If overnight:
__ Nano charger
__ watch charger
__ hotel key
